This event resulted in the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Two individuals are now facing charges in connection with a luggage theft where a suspected pepper spray led to people being hurt at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and charges for using a harmful chemical, authorities have stated.

The charges follow an investigation into an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Earlier that day, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A toddler was among those injured during the incident. Five people required hospital care and were later discharged.

The incident – which authorities stated was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
