The tall defender A constant threat from dead balls, as always, but may be a replacement for Stones at the back as opposed to his partner. A careless ball in the second half came close to a goal from the visitors. Six

The midfielder Crosses on corner kicks and set-plays were dangerous. Was given freedom to roam in left midfield yet found himself offside when the ball arrived with a chance to score. Awarded a merited break after an hour. Six

The star midfielder Functioned in a high spot out wide and did plenty of defensive duties. Demonstrated glimpses of brilliance and dragged an effort high. Substituted towards the end by a teammate, a fellow player, following a yellow card. Seven

The winger Had the team's top opening of the first half, his strike well saved from the Albanian keeper. As Quansah holding position, he was forced to offer an outlet on the right yet his deliveries from wide areas varied in quality. Substituted for the final quarter-hour. 6/10

Harry Kane The difference-maker scoring two more strikes for his country. The first a classic opportunist's goal and his next a classy finish with his head having drifted away off his defender. Now 32, he’s only getting better with the national team stand a real opportunity next summer when he's in the team. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Struggled to influence play out wide. Had a good opening after being played in from a teammate yet Strakosha made the save. His replacement produced a bigger influence when substituted. 5/10
