Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

An aircraft transporting Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday due to a fissure was discovered in the plane's windshield, according to an official announcement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The aircraft landed based on standard procedures and everyone onboard, including Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," an official representative commented in a social media post.

He was traveling back from a brief trip to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This incident isn't the initial instance that a United States armed forces jet carrying a top government figure has suffered technical problems.

Earlier this year, a US Air Force plane ferrying the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was forced to turn back to Washington after experiencing a mechanical problem.
