The forty-third annual Golden Joystick Awards unfolded on Thursday, and in a stunning performance, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 was crowned the most decorated winner. The standout role-playing game from Sandfall Interactive secured the coveted Top Game award, along with accolades for Superb Storytelling and Top Visual Design.

Adding to the developer's triumph, its talented performers also received personal awards. Jennifer English won Outstanding Lead Performance for her portrayal as Maelle, while Ben Starr earned Best Supporting Performer for his work as Verso. Additionally, Sandfall Interactive the studio received Top Studio. Altogether, Clair Obscur and its developers won 7 awards during the show.

Additional notable winners featured Ghost of Yōtei, which won Top Sound Design and Console Game of the Year, and Hollow Knight: Silksong, winning Top Self-Published Indie and Premier PC Title. Worth mentioning, the lion's share of Golden Joystick Awards are voted on by the audience, with only four awards—Critics’ Choice, Breakthrough Award, Hall of Fame, and Streamers’ Choice—judged by reviewers.
